FAQ

WHERE do you live/come from?

I was born in Germany, but today I live in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada (a lovely little spot in a semi-desert surrounded by mountains and lakes) with my husband Jonathan.

What camera do you use?

I use a Nikon D3300 with the kit lens and this lens to take all the photographs you see here on Sidetracked. For a complete list of all my camera gear, check out this post

What websites do you use to book flights?

Generally, I've found the best rates through Skyscanner, a website that compares different airlines to find the lowest price. I'm also a big fan of the Scott's Cheap Flights email newsletters.

Do you have a favorite country?

Greenland for the scenery. Italy for the food.  Mexico for the culture. Canada for rest and tranquility.

Can you feature my project and/or product? Can I advertise on your blog?

If you think we could be a great fit together then please don't hesitate to get in contact with me via my contact page or email me directly at elisabeth@sidetrackedtravelblog.com.

Do you accept guest posts?

If you're interested in contributing to Sidetracked, please send an email to elisabeth@sidetrackedtravelblog.com or use the form on my contact page and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Who designed your website?

I personally designed my blog,  logo, and collateral items. If you're in need of a web and/or graphic designer, you can check out my portfolio and rates over at EBV Creative

How do you edit your photographs?

For the images on the blog I use Lightroom or Photoshop. For images on my Instagram account I mostly use Snapseed.

May I use your photographs on my site?

Sure, feel free to use any of my photographs as long as you credit and link back properly. For commercial use, please contact me.

Did I miss anything?

If you have any questions you'd like me to answer, ask away using the contact form or message me on my Facebook page.
